Jennifer Atlas, MFA, MA, LCAT, CLAT, ATR-BC, is a psychotherapist, art therapist, and artist based in New York. Licensed in both New York and Connecticut and nationally board-certified by the Art Therapy Credentials Board, she brings over twelve years of clinical experience. Jennifer has worked with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds in private practice, schools, hospitals, and community settings, including inpatient psychiatric care and addiction treatment.

Along with working with clients of all ages and genders, she specializes in supporting women in connecting with their creativity and inner strengths while navigating trauma/PTSD, ADHD, and addiction/substance use recovery. She also offers support to individuals with life transitions, grief, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, creative development/creative blocks and more.

 

Jennifer offers a humanistic, integrative approach that combines art therapy, talk therapy, EMDR, and somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and holistic healing. Grounded in compassion, she is dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients can reconnect with themselves and others, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful change. Her practice is inclusive and affirming, welcoming neurodiversity and the LGBTQ+ community.
